Feedback on STEMI patient outcomes is important for EMS quality improvement efforts. But to do serious quality improvement, EMS also need details on the processes of care they impacted which led to those outcomes. Healthcare organizations, including those that provide EMS, are searching for ways to increase the quality of care, while simultaneously becoming more efficient in their use of resources. This is what the” Improvement of Value” is all about. The American College of Cardiology, in collaboration with the Center for Systems Improvement, are going to  be introducing ideas, strategies and tools for EMS organizations and hospitals to take their quality and value improvement efforts to next level starting with this webinar: Making the Leap to Improvement Science.
