St. Louis Paramedics Mourn Loss

ST. LOUIS (KTVI-FOX2now.com) – St. Louis Firefighters are mourning the loss of one of their own today. Some of them fought to save her life. According to her union she died yesterday after her co-workers worked so hard to keep her alive.

Earlier this week some of the paramedics Shaeffer works beside were called to her apartment complex in South St. Louis. Her neighbors found her floating face down in the complex pool. After those other residents were able to pull her out her co-workers did CPR for nearly an exhausting hour and half and were finally able to get a steady pulse. In one of the same ambulances she worked in her colleagues rushed her to the hospital and she remained in critical but stable condition until last night.
