In Pinellas County, Fla., Hurricane Irma proved to be a challenging test of disaster planning for Sunstar Paramedics, the county's 9-1-1 ambulance provider, whose employees worked collaboratively with government officials and agencies, local fire departments and strike teams before, during and after the storm.
