EMS Providers Treat Patients at Texas “˜Hotter “˜N Hell’ Hundred Bike Race
EMS providers from an American Medical Response (AMR) crew in Wichita Falls, Texas, arrive at medical tents to transport a patient who complained of abdominal pain and difficulty breathing after he fell near mile 26 of the “Hotter ‘N Hell Hundred” bike race, a day-long 100-mile ride. The patient was assessed by a team of paramedics, EMTs and physicians and transported to the United Regional Health Care System in Wichita Falls.
