LAKEVILLE, MINN. – ImageTrend, Inc. announced the latest NTDB Data Dictionary for 2019 Admissions has been incorporated into Patient Registry. The 2019 updates were available on the 1st of January. The timeliness of these updates allows hospitals to maintain concurrent documentation of their trauma patients. The 2019 updates in Patient Registry include the collection of distinct Hospital Events and Preexisting Conditions to match the new standards.
“Our clients are providing an incredible level of care to their trauma patients. Having the 2019 NTDB changes available at the start of the year increases the efficiency of the program,” commented Michael Patock, Vice President of Product Management at ImageTrend. “This efficiency gives the team more time to put their trauma registry data to work in PIPS and research projects that are intended to further improve the care of the trauma patient.”
ImageTrend is committed to remaining compliant with the national standard set forth by the American College of Surgeons, and never shares registry data without explicit permission from the client.
