This week, Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department crews have conducted training with the IsoPod, a device designed to isolate highly infectious or (internally) chemically contaminated patients.

Crews were training with some new equipment as well as testing out potential new processes/procedures. They went through the entire process of loading the patient and performing procedures while the patient is inside.
