SAN ANTONIO — In a move to further enhance strategic growth, Vidacare Corporation announced that it is significantly increasing its in-house direct sales force to manage sales of all the company’s products through to the end user. The company intends to hire up to 10 sales professionals in the fourth quarter of 2010, and plans to have a domestic sales force of up to 30 individuals by the end of 2011 to represent all Vidacare product systems, including the EZ-IO Vascular Access System and the OnControl Bone Marrow and Bone Access Systems.
Vidacare currently has a direct sales force for the OnControl products, and sales for the EZ-IO have primarily been managed by third party distributors.
As of January 1, 2011, Vidacare’s enhanced sales team will be responsible for customer accounts for the EZ-IO in the following states: California, Nevada, Arizona, Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Kansas, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. All other states will continue using established third party distributors. There will be no change for current OnControl customers.
