San Jose Fire Department crews resuscitate two dogs after a residential fire. Crews responded to reports of a structure fire at 1:37 p.m. in November and arrived to find heavy smoke and fire showing from the garage of a three-story, multi-unit dwelling. Firefighters immediately set about attacking the fire while assisting a family of five and rescuing the two unresponsive pet dogs. The responders worked quickly to provide lifesaving medical care to the animals, both of which were resuscitated successfully. There were no reports of injuries to any residents, but the fire left 19 people homeless.
