PONTIAC, Michigan – The Detroit News has reported on the death of a EMT during a transport top a local hospital.
Star EMS emergency medical technician Bill Rose, 42, suddenly collapsed while transporting a psychiatric patient on Tuesday morning. Rose was rushed to Doctor’s Hospital in Pontiac where doctors worked on him for over an hour.
An autopsy is scheduled to determine the exact cause of death.
The Detroit News stated that crisis specialists would be available to Star EMS employees as they struggle to deal with Rose’s death.
Rose is survived by a fiancé and her 14-year old son.
