Kansas City Woman Thanks EMTs Who Saved Her Life

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) – Two years ago, Joan Newby suffered cardiac arrest and was essentially dead. But life-saving efforts by her daughter and members of the Kansas City Fire Department brought her back to life. On Wednesday, she was surprised by first responders who came by to check up on her. “It’s a wonderful, kind of euphoric feeling,” said Joan Newby. “I thought about them, wondered who they were and what their faces were like.”
