WALKER COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — Emergency Medical Services (EMS) workers in Walker County now have a new heart monitoring tool at their disposal. The Regional Paramedical Services (RPS) has 40 new Zoll X-Series heart monitors. They monitor heart rates to paramedics in real time as they perform CPR.
