FARMINGTON, Connecticut – First Airway, LLC, developers of The Difficult Airway Course: EMS and Fundamentals of Airway Management, is pleased to announce a new delivery model for these industry leading courses.
Beginning in 2014, The Difficult Airway Course: EMS and Fundamentals of Airway Management will be offered through Authorized Training Centers world-wide. Authorized Training Centers (ATCs) are able to independently deliver these courses using First Airway’s state-of-the-art, evidence-based curriculum and materials. This delivery method will make The Difficult Airway Course: EMS and Fundamentals of Airway Management accessible to more healthcare professionals.
The training center opportunity is open to paramedic and EMT initial training programs and continuing education providers nationally and internationally. Authorized Training Centers must meet several criteria, including: accreditation by a recognized state, national or international training authority, and an excellent reputation for EMS education and practice. ATCs must also appoint a Local Course Director and have the infrastructure, resources and competencies to run the courses successfully.

Currently, ten (10) facilities have been licensed as training centers across the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe, with 27 more in various stages of the approval process.
