VALLEJO, Calif. — A carbon dioxide leak led to the evacuation Friday of as many as 80 employees of a food production warehouse after several workers began displaying symptoms such as nausea, weakness and difficulty breathing.
Vallejo Fire Battalion Chief Sean Fields said that at about 12:30 p.m. an employee of Ghiringhelli Specialty Foods, in the 100 block of Benicia Road, began complaining of breathing difficulty.
