
A Chicago Fire Department paramedic has tested positive for COVID-19, the city said at a briefing today, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

“There’s no indication that the member contracted the virus during a service call. The case is doing well in isolation at home,” said Dr. Allison Arwady, Chicago’s health commissioner.
The paramedic’s partner, and others in close contact with the paramedic, are in quarantine. Arwady said the firehouse where the paramedic was cleaned.
