Ambulance Operators to Seek State’s Help

OKLAHOMA CITY — Ambulance operators struggling with the problem of providing rural emergency services decided Tuesday to plead their case before the Legislature.

The operators said they are facing a crisis because many ambulance services are going out of business and that those that remain are unable to pick up the slack in neighboring communities.
