Alabama EMT Recovering after Freak Accident

An EMT with Anniston EMS in Alabama needs your help after she was hurt after a tree limb fell on top of her during a call.

Evie Waddell and another firefighter were hurt April 23 after the tree had fallen on top of a mobile home after a storm, ABC 33/40 reported. Waddell suffered fractures to her skull, spine and ribs. She also had a liver contusion, scalp hematoma and bruises.

“I’ve had great support. My two daughters, they have definitely been by my side ever since I’ve been home from the hospital,” Waddell told the station.
