101-Year-Old Woman Survives Overnight In Bitter Cold

HARDY COUNTY, W.Va. — At 0851 hours, Maryland State Police helicopter, Trooper 5, Pilot Harold Kelley and Trooper First Class Flight Paramedic Jeff Partridge were dispatched to Moorefield, Hardy County, WV for a patient suffering from hypothermia after exposure to the extreme cold.

During response, communications were established with WVU Medcom and Hardy County Paramedic 849. Patient report was received indicating that a 101 year old female being treated for hypothermia and trauma post fall.
