HuffPost Tackles PTSD, Depression in EMS

The HuffPost is making note of how PTSD and depression is affecting emergency medical technicians and paramedics.

The report published this weekend notes how first responders work long shifts on little sleep and are often faced with graphic accident scenes.

Despite this, according to the report and previous writings in JEMS, paramedics and EMTs often earn far less than other first responders.
