At least two New York medics are under investigation and currently off the schedule after video footage allegedly shows them not helping a man in an ambulance, according to news reports.
The video appears to show the medics refusing to help a man into the ambulance on Friday. The man then falls onto the floor of the ambulance and the medic yells at him to get up. The medic later accuses the man of faking the fall.
The man was eventually able to get up on the stretcher.
Town Supervisor Patrick McCulloch said the medics are town employees and are not working while an investigation is ongoing.
The man was reportedly a multiple-stroke victim and had internal bleeding.
Several videos were uploaded to YouTube.
