BARDA Seeks EMS Input on MCIs

Seal of the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority.

You’re invited to inform the U.S. Government about your needs as an EMS provider. Your insight will directly contribute to the development of tools for EMS providers’ use during a mass causality event.

We are the Biomedical Advanced Research & Development Authority (BARDA) from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response. Our mission is to develop and procure medical countermeasures (MCMs) for Chemical, Biological (e.g., COVID-19), Radiation, & Nuclear (CBRN) incidents.

What You Need to Tell Us

  • What kind of MCMs do you need?
  • How and when do you need them supplied?
  • What are your needs for just-in-time education & access to resources?
  • What point-of-care diagnostics are needed?
  • What devices or technologies are needed to respond better to mass casualty incidents?
