24 Hospitalized after Fire at RI Rehabilitation Center

At least twenty-four patients at a Rhode Island respiratory rehabilitation center were hospitalized Thursday night after a fire, according to a report in the New York Post.

The fire was reported at about 9 p.m., at the Genesis Respiratory and Rehabilitation Center in Coventry, Rhode Island.

The Coventry Fire Department said the fire was contained to one room.

Ambulances responded from at least four separate departments. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
