ProMED – The Program for Monitoring Emerging Diseases sponsored by the International Society of Infectious Diseases (ISID). FDA Drug Shortages Database – The U.S. Food and Drug Administration searchable database of drug shortages. Site includes links to mobile apps that can alert you to new and resolved shortages.

NASEMSO – Website of the National Association of State EMS Officials. Includes multiple resource documents, reports on projects and subscription link to the Washington Update newsletter on EMS activities in the US.

NREMT – Website of the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians, a non-profit organization that serves as the Nation’s EMS Certification organization.

NEMSQA – The National EMS Quality Alliance develops and endorses evidence-based quality measures for EMS and healthcare partners to improve the experience and outcomes of patients and EMS providers.

PGC – The Prehospital Guidelines Consortium develops, implements and evaluates evidence-based guidelines (EBGs) for prehospital care.

HSDL – Homeland Security Digital Library is a collection of documents related to homeland security policy, strategy, and organizational management. Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s National Preparedness Directorate, FEMA and the Naval Postgraduate School Center for Homeland Defense and Security.

EMSC – The Emergency Medical Services for Children program tackles the challenges associated with provision of emergency medical services to children and families.

CDC – Website of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, working to protect the nation from health threats and responding when threats arise. The CDC operates dozens of list servers and distributes multiple newsletters such as their Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Review (MMWR)
