LifeStar Names Pennsylvania’s General Manger

LifeStar Response Ambulance Corporation announced that it has hired Susan K. Deprill as the General Manger for its’ Pennsylvania Division. Ms. Deprill’s official start date was September 13, 2010, and she will be working from the companies Bethlehem, PA facility.

Ms. Deprill will be responsible for LifeStar’s Pennsylvania Division and her day-to-day functions will include the management of Pennsylvania operations, which includes: Managing the operations of Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support ambulance transportation services; emergent and non-emergency ambulance transportation services; and the Paratransit division, which provides non-emergency wheelchair transportation services. Ms. Deprill will also manage the communications center, and will directly manage frontline field providers, supervisors and support staff. She will also be responsible for the hiring of new employees and the development and training of current employees.

Ms. Deprill has had career opportunities with Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cetronia Ambulance Corps, and Muller Martini. She obtained her BS at West Chester State University and is a credentialed Professional in Human Resources. As well, she is a licensed Pennsylvania Paramedic and Respiratory Therapist. Ms. Deprill also holds numerous other certifications in EMS educational instruction.
