Chimney Rock Rescue

In this Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014 photo provided by Priest Lake Search & Rescue, rescue team members use an apparatus to move a two-ton boulder that had rolled onto the leg of a 36-year-old woman, on a trail leading from Chimney Rock, a prominent outcropping in the Payette National Forest north of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The Coeur d'Alene Press reports the woman was hiking with a man and became stuck Friday afternoon after the large boulder on the side of the mountain shifted under her weight. Priest Lake Search and Rescue team members and the Bonner County EMS Wilderness Response Team reached her Friday evening around midnight, freed her and tended to her injuries, but had to wait for daybreak before she could be taken out by helicopter. The woman's name wasn't immediately released.
