Team Australia EMS Visits the U.S.

A group of paramedic students from various regions in Australia recently made a visit to see what EMS is like in the United States. They rode along with AMR/MedicWest Ambulance in Las Vegas, along with the Clark County (Nev.) Fire Department. They ran some calls, discussed the ins and outs of the EMS systems and realized that despite operational differences, caring for those in need is truly a global calling. Photos courtesy Colin Allen
