Medical students worked for a year to make all of the Danish citizens aware of the need to perform CPR as soon as possible after a cardiac arrest. This year an "army" of 658 volunteers who designed a program to have people all over Denmark perform near perfect CPR for 30 seconds.

Volunteers are recognized at the 2017 EMS Conference for their participation in TrygFonden's World Record for Life - a program intended to have people all over Denmark perform near perfect CPR for 30 seconds. The program exceeded their goal and had 5,770 people perform their CPR segment - a world's record.
