Tulsa Medics Take Drug, Alcohol Lesson to Classrooms

Tulsa – Local paramedics are working to save lives before an emergency. They are speaking to Tulsa teenagers about the danger of experimenting with drugs and alcohol.

“We have our packs with all of our gear in it – monitoring equipment, oxygen tubing, and we just show them this,” says EMSA Paramedic Dayan Inclan. “If you use drugs and you have an overdose, or are having any kind of really bad effect, this is what we are going to do to help you.”

They’re showing the tubes they use. All of that, even the needles to get fluid to a dehydrated teenager.
