Child Care Providers and Families Honored at Petco Park

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The YMCA Childcare Resource Service, San Diego Child Care and Development Planning Council, First 5 Commission of San Diego County and the San Diego County Office of Education will recognize all the child care and early education providers who are making a difference in the lives of children throughout San Diego County. They will be honored for their dedication to quality child care at PETCO Park on Sunday, May 2, at 1 p.m. during the Padres game against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Child Care Provider Appreciation Day is part of the Quality Child Care Campaign which connects the community with high quality child care programs and other parenting resources. Over the next decade 85% of the work force will be made up of working parents.
