Two Fire Medics Taken to Hospital after Kingsburg (CA) FD Ambulance Flips onto Roof in Crash

A Kingsburg Fire Department ambulance flipped onto its roof after a crash Tuesday morning on Highway 99 in Tulare County, kmph.com reported.

No patients were in the ambulance at the time of the crash, California Highway Patrol – Visalia said in a Facebook post. Two Kingsburg Fire personnel were transported to a hospital with moderate injuries, CHP said.

The solo rollover crash happened around 7 a.m. on Highway 99 and Betty Drive in Goshen, California.

The ambulance was Kingsburg’s Medic 501, a 2018 Freightliner.
