NACOGDOCHES COUNTY – A Texas paramedic was killed Tuesday afternoon in a motorcyle crash in Nacogdoches County.
The Montgomery County Police Reporter stated that San Jacinto County paramedic Glenn David Whitmore Jr., 48, ran off of FM 225 and died on the scene.
Whitmore worked as a paramedic at Allegiance EMS in San Jacinto County and was also a Paramedic with Freedom 1 EMS in San Augustine.
A DPS spokesman stated Whitmore was driving a 2000 Yamaha eastbound on FM 225 and passing a vehicle when he drove off the road and hit a culvert.
Whitmore was not wearing a helmet.
