Whoopi Goldberg, Jon Stewart, Bruce Springsteen, Chelsea Handler, Kelly Ripa, Jon Bon Jovi, SZA, and Danny DeVito are among the many celebrities who will be featured in the “Jersey 4 Jersey” COVID-19 relief benefit and concert, according to NJ.com. Chris Rock, Halsey, and Tony Bennett are also expected to take part. Organizers said the lineup is expected to grow in the coming days.
“Jersey 4 Jersey” will air at 7 p.m. ET on Wednesday, April 22 on various TV outlets including WABC channel 7, WPVI, 6ABC, WPIX 11, News 12, and NJTV.
In March, DeVito, Bon Jovi, Springsteen, and others appeared in a video to help Tammy Murphy, wife of New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, announce the creation of the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund and to ask for support.
Through the fund, many other New Jersey-based celebrities have participated in public service announcements urging people to stay home, wash their hands, and #bandtogether to support the fund.
