Virginia Woman Sues after Allegedly Being Dropped During Transport

WYTHE COUNTY, Va. – Claiming that first responders dropped and injured her during a hospital transport, a Max Meadows woman is suing the Lead Mines Volunteer Rescue Squad for more than $1 million.

An attorney for Ruby Mooney filed the lawsuit on Jan. 10 in Wythe County Circuit Court. Listed as John Doe 1 and John Doe 2, two squad members are also named as defendants.
