UT Firefighter/Paramedic Dies in Off-Duty Fall

According to a report from KUTV, the Payson (UT) Fire Department (PFD) announced that Eric Adams, a 10-year PFD member as a fire rescue firefighter and paramedic, died in an fall while off-duty on Monday.

Adams joined the PFD in 2012. He is survived by his wife, three sons, and a daughter.

A viewing will be held at Walker Mortuary, 587 South 100 West in Payson, on Monday, August 1, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and at the Payson Latter-day Saint Church, 711 South 600 East, on Tuesday, August 2, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

The chapel’s funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. The Payson City Cemetery, located at 400 North 800 East, will serve as the site of interment.
