The Online Swiftwater and Flood Awareness Certification Course features comprehensive information in rescue philosophy and communication, “15 Absolutes,” Hydrology, Flood Hazards, Scene Size Up, Personal Equipment, Personal Safety and Survival and much more. To access the course, users logon directly from the Rescue3 website Online Training Page where they create a user account and either enter a course code received from their agency or pay with a credit card. From there the user can access the course 24/7 as much as needed, download PDF work files, take practice quizzes and finally when ready take the final exam. Upon successful completion of the exam, the student will receive a certification confirmation and will be mailed a certificate directly from Rescue3. The course certification is similar to other rescue courses in that it should be renewed every three years.
