NYC Students Injured in Gate Collapse at School

NEW YORK — New York City fire officials say more than two dozen students at a school are being treated after a grate collapsed at a school.

Officials say five students were rushed to area hospitals Friday morning, three of them with serious injuries, after the collapse outside the school in Brooklyn.

Fire officials say 27 other students were being treated on the scene.

The cause of the collapse is under investigation.

The name of the school wasn’t immediately available.
