‘Nothing Short of a Miracle’ – Florida Boy Survives Crash Ejection

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — A car crash flung a toddler over a 20-foot wall and into the backyard of a home in South Florida, and he came out of it with only scratches.

The boy was conscious when paramedics arrived Friday. Authorities say his injuries didn’t appear to be serious.

Broward Sheriff Fire-Rescue spokesman Mike Jachles says “it was nothing short of a miracle.”

The driver of a vehicle lost control and the car rolled over and landed at a 45-degree angle against a wall, ejecting the child.

Authorities are trying to verify whether the child was wearing a seat belt or in car seat.

Another child was strapped in and suffered no injuries. The driver, who was the mother, was hospitalized with a leg injury.
