Surface Medical Inc. (“SMI”) announced that it has entered into an agreement with the Canadian division of Ferno-Washington, Inc. (“Ferno Canada”), a global manufacturer and distributor of the most comprehensive and innovative patient handling solutions for professional EMS, rescue, fire, police and mortuary services.
Ferno Canada will offer CleanPatch to its ambulance services and patient transportation (“Pre-Hospital”) customers, which is complementary to Associated Health Systems and Schaan Healthcare who service Acute Care and Long-Term Care customers. This arrangement offers customers better market access to CleanPatch to solve their mattress repair needs.

Ferno Canada and Surface Medical will jointly feature CleanPatch at the upcoming Paramedic Chiefs of Canada (PCC) Annual Conference from June 3rd through 6th in Niagara Falls, Ontario. In addition to demonstrating the product at the Ferno exhibitor booth, Surface Medical will be presenting a poster on CleanPatch during this conference: Novel Process to Assess and Repair Damaged Surfaces of EMS Stretchers.
