Cincinnati Crews Extricate Inverted Patient from Crash

Cincinnati Fire Department (CFD) paramedics complete a complex extrication of a patient after a tractor-trailer rollover crash. Multiple teams were required to crib and stabilize the massive vehicle and expand the vehicle’s door opening to remove the patient from an inverted position. Once removed, the patient was treated for his traumatic injuries and shock by the CFD paramedics and AirCare aeromedical crew, and was airlifted to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
