2 workers injured in Seattle construction accident

SEATTLE (AP) – Two construction workers were injured in an accident on the job Thursday at the CenturyLink Field parking garage in Seattle.

The fire department says they were hit by a load of rebar that was being lifted by a crane, and one suffered head injuries.

Spokesman Kyle Moore told KOMO (http://is.gd/drXeCc ) a fire department rescue team brought the men down using ropes and pulleys.

Harborview Medical Center says the men are in satisfactory condition in the emergency room and may be released after treatment.
