An Alameda County jury has found in favor of Paramedics Plus in American Medical Response’s (AMR) lawsuit against the company.
In its suit, AMR accused Paramedics Plus of violating California’s predatory pricing laws in its bid to win the emergency medical service contract for Alameda County in 2010. In its 12-0 verdict, the jury found Paramedics Plus did not violate the law in its proposal for the Alameda County exclusive operating area.
“We are very pleased that the truth has been upheld, and Paramedics Plus has been vindicated by this jury’s finding,” said, Ron Schwartz, President of Paramedics Plus. “It’s unfortunate that AMR chose to pursue their groundless claims in court resulting in wasted time and resources for all involved.
