Ohio EMT Struck by Car, Killed

SWANTON, Ohio — A volunteer firefighter/EMT with the Richfield Center Fire Department was killed Friday when a car struck her.

According to FirefighterCloseCalls.com, 45-year-old Charolette Adair was on her way to work when she stopped to help motorists following a crash. She was struck as she exited her vehicle to direct traffic.

She was transported to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center where she died of her injuries.
