Man Accused in EMT Stabbing Faces Court

NASHUA, N.H. – The 19-year-old accused of stabbing to death a local EMT is back in New Hampshire after fleeing to Massachusetts. Matthew Packer, of 36 Carlene Drive, was arraigned Wednesday on two alternative counts of second-degree murder, alleging that he knowingly and recklessly killed Paul Frontiero III, 27, of 13 Spruce St.

Packer is accused of stabbing Frontiero several times, including once in the heart, according to investigators. The attack occurred Sunday night outside of Frontiero’s apartment building when Frontiero attempted to help two women who were allegedly being harassed by Packer.
