The Fayette County Coroner’s Office says Kyle Ginnever of Lexington was pronounced dead at 5:20 a.m. EDT Friday from multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
Police are unsure why Ginnever was on the tracks, but say it appears he was laying down as the train approached. Police say the train couldn’t stop in time and struck him.
The coroner’s office ruled the death accidental.
