Hospitals, ambulances and other healthcare facilities in Ukraine are being attacked during the Russian invasion, the World Health Organization said Tuesday.

At least nine deaths have been reported in 16 attacks on healthcare facilities since the start of hospitalities on Feb. 24, according to Reuters. The WTO did not say who was responsible for the attacks.

One of those victims was Paramedic Valentyna Pushych, who was known as “Romashka,” which means “Daisy.”

Catherine Smallwood, the WHO’s senior emergency officer for Europe, said ambulances had been commandeered for purposes other than emergency healthcare.

The agency said it is working to provide medical supplies to the country, including oxygen, insulin and PPE.
