A crash between a tractor-trailer and an ambulance sent three people to the hospital early Wednesday morning, WJCL reported.
Police say a Golden Isles ambulance was traveling from Waycross to Savannah when it slammed into the back of the truck on East Oglethorpe Highway in Hinesville.
The EMS provider driving the ambulance needed to be freed by firefighters. The two EMS providers and the patient they were transporting were taken to Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah.
Their conditions are not known.
