NORRISTOWN, Pa. – After a roof-top standoff Thursday that lasted more than six hours, police took a Norristown man into custody in connection with Wednesday’s theft of a Plymouth ambulance.
Police arrived at the 300 block of East Penn Street at approximately 6:30 a.m. while investigating the theft. Upon their arrival, the suspect, Carlos Bouie, reportedly fled to the roof of his home through a second-floor window. From there, police said, he went over to a neighbor’s roof and refused to come down.
