Report: 5 Western Pa. Towns Scramble to Find Provider after Ambulance Service Closes

Five western Pennsylvania communities are rushing to find a new ambulance provider after its current one closed down early, WPXI-TV reports.

Laurel Valley Ambulance Service had notified the towns they were shutting down in 90 days but were forced to shutter early when staff left for other jobs, according to the report.

The towns impacted by the closure include New Florence, Seward, St. Clair Township, Fairfield Township and parts of East and West Wheatfield Townships.
