William “˜Earl’ Riggs

William “Earl” Riggs died Jan. 11, 2012, at the age of 71 in Brentwood, Calif.

 

He was co-owner of Fremont-Tri-Cities Ambulance Company, Regional Ambulance and was co-founder of American Medical Response. Born on Aug. 14, 1941, in Redondo Beach, Calif., Earl graduated from James Logan High School in Union City, Calif.

 

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Sharon; devoted children Tracy Venable (Ron) of Brentwood; David Riggs (Sherrill) of Brentwood; and grandchildren; Kathryn and David, Mallory and Mason, Joshua, James, Justin and Sapphire.
