No Injuries After Ambulance Ignites on I-295 in FL



According to a report from FirstCoastNews, no injuries were reported after a St. Johns County (FL) Fire Rescue ambulance caught fire on I-295 in South Jacksonville, Florida, Tuesday afternoon. 

The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department (JFRD) said that the ambulance was transporting a patient and family member when it ignited near the Gate Parkway exit.

JFRD members extinguished the fire, which caused serious damage inside the ambulance, according to a Twitter post from the department. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
