COLEMAN COUNTY, Texas (KTAB) – Since September of last year, the Coleman County Medical Center has been looking to use another ambulance service. After months of finalizing the contract, the city and county have decided on Heart of Texas EMS. Heart of Texas took over January 1st and their first call came in at 12:45 AM that night. This is the first area for Heart of Texas to serve as a 911 service. The contract will last three years and has two possible automatic renewals.
